点评：42 years young and my first time EVER in Manchester… and what an amazing experience! ❤️
Firstly, what incredibly friendly people!
I came to Manchester with my daughter to watch Jason Donovan in High School Musical, and being a Jason fan for such a long time — but NEVER managing to get anywhere near him 😂 — I knew the chances of my daughter getting his autograph were probably pretty slim.
So, we planned ahead!
She wrote Jason a letter, put it together with a few special items in a clear folder and handed it to Christine in the foyer. Christine then got it to Vicky at Stage Door Reception and, between them, they managed to make one little girl (and big child lol) VERY happy. 🥹❤️ thank you.
Jason signed my daughter’s letter and also a record I’ve had since 1991 — the year I first saw him, when I was just 7 years old! That record has been with me for 35 years, so having it signed after all this time means more than I can explain, even if he did write my daughter name, ive finally got Jason's 🥰
As predicted, we never managed to see Jason after the show. Was my daughter disappointed? Of course she was. But she was also SO pleased and incredibly thankful to Jason, Christine, Vicky and everyone who went above and beyond to make sure her things reached him and came back signed. ❤️
Now then… THE SHOW!
WOW. What can I say other than FANTASTIC!
We are regular theatre-goers, but we were genuinely amazed by the amount of work that has gone into this production. At times, it honestly felt as though we had stepped straight into Albuquerque, America, and were sitting there watching a real basketball game!
And the use of the cameras and live video feed… GENIUS! 👏
I won’t say too much because I really don't want to spoil it for anyone. All I will say is — people need to go and see this show!
And last, but definitely not least…
The Lowry Gallery.
Again — absolutely fantastic, and FREE!
The six-minute film bringing Lowry’s paintings to life was like nothing we have EVER experienced before. We’ve been to Disney World Florida — “the most magical place on Earth” — and I tell you what… The Lowry managed to give us one of those rare moments where you just stand there completely mesmerised.
Absolutely phenomenal. ❤️
So, Manchester…
For my first ever visit at 42 years young, you certainly made an impression!
Amazing people, an incredible theatre, a fantastic show, a beautiful gallery and some very special memories for both me and my daughter.

还有那些摄像设备的运用以及实时视频转播……简直太天才了！👏
我就不多说了，因为实在不想剧透。我只想说：大家一定要去观看这场演出！
最后，。不过，绝对不容忽视的还有……
洛瑞画廊。
再次强调——简直棒极了，而且免费！
