Great place to learn all about hot air balloons!!
Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum的点评
点评：We visited the Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum during the weekend of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. It was busy but not overcrowded as the museum is big and there are quite a few exhibits and attractions to see. The museum is full of information on hot air ballooning from the history how it started with plenty of photos and illustrations and it moves on with plenty of whimsical hot air balloons hanging from the ceiling.
There are even two actual size hot air balloons which you may pose for a photo with-- one that you may pull a lever and it will let out the sound and image that you are actually ignite the burner to start the balloon going up. There are also interactive area for children to draw and create their own hot air baloon.
During the week of the Fiesta, they also had special AI glasses that you could view the Balloon Fiesta right in front of you just by sitting down and wearing the glasses.
There is also a very nice gift shop before you depart the museum as there are plenty of hot air balloon items to select from. Also, the parking at the museum is complimentary and there is plenty of spaces available. Definitely a nice place to stop by while visiting Albuquerque to learn more about the hot air balloon and why Albuquerque is the famous place where the annual International Fiesta takes place.
