点评:My wife and i have been wanting to do this for a few years now, and last week finally got the chance to go round. The ticket office is on the third floor, with a lift for those with accessibility problems like myself. The lady on the desk gave us concessions tickets without my asking, as i was using a walking stick which i found a nice touch.
The exhibits are arranged into groupings and not just placed any old how. The third floor was about the history of the foundation of how the surgeons came about, with the old tools of the trade(so to speak) on show.
The next floor we entered had interactions with modern day surgery techniques, where you could see how good you would be as a surgeon which was fun, along with a dentistry section as well.
We then moved down stairs to the room i found the most fascinating, the one with actual preserved body parts, which were all placed in an order of where they would be in the body, going from head to toe.
It really is amazing to see, and not squeamish at all.
A-lot of medical students walking around at the time, using what they are seeing for their own studies.
All in all a great few hours spent seeing a side of life (or death) that you would rarely get to see.
Well worth a visit
Please note you are not allowed to take pictures, which didnt bother me as there are plenty online anyway
