吉卜力美术馆的点评
点评：You have to be a "die-hard fan" to visit this museum. Otherwise skip it. Tickets are cheap ( $7,5) but buying them is a real challenge. They are released on the 10th of each month at 10 am and get sold out immediately. We practiced buying them for a couple of months. All the effort isn't worth it.
Museum is located in Mitaka, outside of Tokyo. We had some problems with trains and instead of 1 hour it took us 2 hours to get there. Tickets are timed . We were running late and had to take a taxi from the train station( $25)
When we finally visited the museum we were disappointed. There wasn't much to see, it was packed. We were done in 45 minutes, including watching a short cartoon.
Souvenirs looked cheap and highly overpriced, nothing exclusive. We left empty handed. My husband was very upset because he had high expectations for this place.
