A not so enjoyable trip to ullal beach

点评：Ullal beach itself is like a wild horse with windy seas n turbulent waters--at least on the 24th July 2026 afternoon --, has scenic views far into the Arabian sea. But it's distressing and sad the way the sandy beachfront is maintained....there is uncleaned garbage all around the beach, discarded shoes, clothes, plastic bottles, rotting rubber sandal, rotting wood, fisherman's net...all human mads garbage, et all. It's sad as the authorities or even a local volunteers body could easily help clear up the beach. The waters are not exactly pristine, more likely muddy greyish in colour and there is a distinct stinking smell in the air. Could be from a garbage dump just behind the sitting area for people right on the beach. It's a sad scenario for such a beautiful beach. The stench from the dump pervades the air so much that even the sea air can't beat it back. It's a beautiful place...if only the authorities took care of it. Much could be done to beautify the area within just a few days...if only the people willed to live in cleaner environs.
