Ward's lake, originally known as Pollack lake, was constructed in 1984 under the guidance of sir William ward, with engineering by colonel Hopkins. Its initial purpose was to serve as a water reservoir for the city, but over time, it has evolved into a beloved recreational spot and a botanical marvel.
Word's lake is not just a feast for the eyes but also a hub of recreational activities. Boating enthusiasts rent paddle boats and rowboats to explore the lake. Families often gather for picnics on the well maintained lawns surrounding the lake. This 100 years old lake is a major tourist attraction and a favourite spot for locals and visitors.

Two colourful musical fountains one on each side of the bridge, gush water from beneath the surface of the lake. This makes lake a special attraction to see and enjoy.
