Langjokull Glacier的点评
点评：What an amazing experience.
Sadly there was absolutely NO SNOW in Iceland in January! Who would have thought! So we decided to go snowmobiling on Langjokull Glacier, as it was the only way we were going to see ay snow!
What an awesome ride up the glacier! You go up in these huge monster trucks, then stop off at a camp to get geared up! The views are stunning, as are all the views in Iceland! But these were just special!
We then headed further up the mountain and onto the Glacier itself.
We got to ride the snowmobiles to an Ice cave, where we got off and had a look inside. The young lads showing us around we happy to answer questions, and were really very knowledgeable and friendly.
There was a big group of us, but it wasn't an issue as we had to ride in line on the machines anyway. They are heavier to control than you might think!
It was one of the most expensive trips we did in Iceland, but honestly the views and the riding experience were amazing. The snowmobiling part is about 1 hour in length, which does fly by, but it is a very popular trip.
The best views of Iceland were at the top of that Glacier!
