I had a very disappointing experience at Sunglass Hut in Carrefour Laval.
A pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses was displayed with a $459 price tag. When I went to purchase them, I was told the actual price was $609. The staff acknowledged that the merchandise had been incorrectly labeled/displayed, but the manager refused to honor the displayed price.
After discussing the issue, I was offered only a 10% discount, which I accepted because I still wanted the glasses. I have both photos of the $459 price tag and my receipt showing the $609 original price.
What bothered me most was not simply that a pricing mistake happened—mistakes happen—but how it was handled after the mistake was acknowledged. As a customer, I expect displayed prices to be accurate and pricing discrepancies to be handled fairly and professionally.
I left disappointed with the way the situation was resolved and have submitted the matter to Sunglass Hut customer service
