Great visit for bookworms and crafty kids alike
The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre的点评
点评：We love this museum! I went with my 7 and 5 year old daughters during May half term. We’ve been 4 times this year and it is still a preferred visit. We did a craft workshop based on George’s Marvellous medicine run by the excellent Dana. She was warm, welcoming and explained the task very clearly. Lots of resources with which to craft.
After the workshop we had lunch in the court yard. The kiosk is great. The kids had a delicious strawberry milkshake and I had a cheese pasty which was tasty. There was even some water play trays set up under shade as it was a super warm day.
We attended a story time, also based on George’s marvellous medicine. It was interactive and really captivating.
We did more crafts in the back room, tried our hands at stop-motion animation and perused lots of Roald Dahl books, available to read during your trip.
The shop has some great pocket money purchases as well as all the books. We got the Roald Dahl top trumps which Bex, one of the very helpful staff even showed the kids how to play.
A fabulous way to spend a few hours for books worms and crafty kids alike. Displays change and we find something new every time we return.
