点评:My family and I stopped at tamarack to break up a longer trip, to stretch our legs and use the restroom. Almost as soon as we walked in, I felt like we were being watched, but I could chalk that up to it being a slow day and the employees just being bored. But after we started browsing around, the weird feeling got stronger. As we moved from exhibit to exhibit I could tell we were being watched and followed by 2-4 employees the whole time. Let me be clear, we are white people. I can’t image what Black Americans go through in there! Being a native West Virginian, I expected a little more hospitality, but we were clearly viewed with suspicion and, dare I say, derision. Very disappointing. Ironically the only person who was nice to us was an older black lady sweeping the floors.
