点评：Small in size, but big in heart.
Invited by staff for a rescue collection. I had my grandson with me. 2 hours was plenty timewise to see all the animals. Was glad it was not pathed and looking concrete. More as though, walking through someone's garden, which it is, just different as full of exotics. Enclosures are more natural in display and looks as these are for the animals, not the visitors. If an animal is not seen, ask staff who will advise you of their favourite hiding places. The variety of animals for this smaller site is impressive and the different cross-section is awesome. Hearing the lion roaring was pheomonal and then actually seeing them, right there, about 10ft away in their sleeping quarters, was a genuine shock as up close, you understand their sheer size and obvious strength. The giant tortoise were mind blowing, this was similar to seeing living dinosaurs. Dinosaur models are dotted around the park, as a reminder, that although their demise was not man-made; the natural world's continued survival is very much at in the hands of humans. Conservation efforts are ongoing, such as Scottish wildcat program, though small in stature, these felines are as fierce as tigers. The Amur tiger, largest tiger species, was a glorious sight resting upon her high ground dazzling in the sun in her orange and black stripe coat. The baby tapir was indoors with it's mother, but just visible. An adorable addition the world population of this unusual creature. Failed to see turtle dove, have heard them in a wild state. Apologises to any animal, I did not mention. I do not endorse many establishments, but this special park tucked away in the Cambridgshire countryside has captured my heart. Thank you to Kelly and her Aunt. I will return...
