点评：Really interesting. Quite a small house, but with several examples of Frank's beautiful paintings and pieces of furniture, his wife's lovely embroidery and other handiwork to take in, as well as some very well-presented material in display cabinets, it meant that I stayed there for about an hour. I really enjoyed hearing what the guide had to say: he knew a lot about the house and the versatile, industrious, talented Dickinsons and introduced it very well. I left feeling very impressed by the Dickinsons' dedication and creative talent, especially given their limited financial means and the other competing pressures on their time. I was surprised and delighted to find that this house and it's collection of original furniture, fixtures and fittings, crafted by the Dickinsons in the early twentieth century had remained so intact. A tribute to them, their children, and a host of enlightened decision-makers at Sutton council and well-chosen caretakers.
