On the Expensive Side, but Just Right for a Nature Outing With Coworkers

点评：After visiting Giants Causeway, we headed down the road towards this Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge which was highly recommended to us my coworkers and about 15 minutes down the road from Giants Causeway. We got there just fine, but there was a dangerous part where we passed through a small town and there were cars parked in our driving lane (legal there in northern Ireland, it’s still very dangerous) which forced us to enter the opposite lane to pass.
When we arrived, my coworkers expressed some nervousness about crossing the bridge. To be honest, I was a bit nervous too, but since I was the leader of the group I said “Well we didn’t come all this way to NOT cross the bridge!”
That seemed to lighten the mood a little bit, and so we crossed it, made some team-building memories, took some amazing photos, saw Scotland again from across the North Atlantic Sea, and we had an amazing time together.
There were also some interesting features to look at like some steadily running water drainage coming down the hill. It sounded like a miniature waterfall and if you’re standing just the right spot, you can see sea cave in the side of the cliff. Overall, the views from here are pretty amazing.
If you haven’t been to north coast of Northern Ireland, highly recommend checking this place out!
