Riverside Park with interesting features and links Shakesperean plays

点评：Thursday 7th August we visited the Holy Trinity Church in Stratford upon Avon. We then walked back towards the centre of Town through this Park.
As we walked through this riverside Park the pathway took us alongside the River and by the Chain Ferry
Walking through the Park we saw posters with quotations from Shakespeare's play The Two Gentlemen of Verona. There was also a colourful, temporary archway, that we walked under which had the word Verona across it. The play was being performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) through out the month of August.
We also walked past a wall, which could have been inspired by Roman or Italian design with it's five arches. Each arch contains a portrait of actors portraying Shakesperean characters.
We also noted a couple of other stone built buildings the gardens as we walked around.
As we approached the Town we walked around the back of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
The park is a wide open space where visitors can come, spread a blanket on the ground, have a picnic and enjoy the actors performing a Shakesperean play in he great outdoors.
