don't bother visiting, staff member extremely rude

点评：Very unimpressed. It was not that easy to find and the website states "usually" last entry at 3. We arrived before 3 but didn't anticipate that we had to drive down a very long drive, then walk down quite a long steep uneven path to get to the bunker and we got to the actual bunker at about 3.05. The door was locked there was no one around at all the toilets were double locked too. We were wandering for a while looking for anyone at all to talk to as it was deserted before I decided to phone them up. A very rude man answered the phone and said we had arrived after 3 (which we hadn't really as we arrived in the car park before 3) and despite him being right there behind the door and me explaining we just wanted to walk through and would be out by the closing time of 4 no matter what. And he would have had £30 of our money for it. He said we hadn't arrived on time and it says it on the website (which is actually very vague on timings with the word usually) and he will not be allowing us in.
His attitude was not nice and we won't be back as I don't like supporting businesses that are so unaccommodating. It was not necessary to speak to us so rudely, he had a really foul attitude which i found very offensive. We had driven an hour and a bit especially to get there and visit and to be spoken to like that was unbelievable. I would have been more disappointed but I heard from friends that they agree with the other negative reviews about it being run down.
