Great Market Square (Grote Markt)的点评
点评：The Grote Markt is truly the heart of Leuven and one of those places that you can wander through again and again and always notice something new.
I absolutely loved the charming cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture, and the feeling that there is history everywhere you turn. The incredible Town Hall (sadly under construction) and St. Peter’s Church make the square breathtaking, but what I loved just as much was the energy surrounding it, the restaurants, cafés, outdoor seating, and people simply enjoying the city.
There are so many wonderful restaurants and little streets to explore that you can easily spend hours just walking, stopping for something to eat or drink, and taking everything in. During my visit to Leuven, I found myself walking through the Grote Markt almost every day, and it never lost its charm.
It is beautiful during the day and even more magical in the evening when the city comes alive. For me, the Grote Markt perfectly captures what made Leuven so special, history, beauty, incredible food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. An absolute must-see when visiting Leuven!
