A great family beach in Jupiter

点评：We loved DuBois Park and Beach and would absolutely recommend it to other families visiting the Jupiter area. After a lot of travel, it feels genuinely special.
The water is calm, shallow, and protected, with almost no waves or current. It was easy and relaxing to spend time with our three-year-old, who loved playing at the edge. For families with young kids, it’s hard to beat.
The park is beautiful. Sandy areas border the water on both sides, with natural shade, picnic tables, and grills. Everything felt clean and cared for, not overly manicured. Restrooms and a lifeguard tower are nearby, though we didn't see a lifeguard on duty.
There is also a pirate-ship playground, which is a great option for kids who want a break from the water. One small tip: the rubber surface can get very hot in the sun, so it’s helpful to wear flip-flops or shoes.
We enjoyed watching the boats in the inlet, visible from almost anywhere in the park. Walk across the bridge to reach the ocean side—a nice bonus.
The atmosphere stood out—welcoming, with locals and visitors, varied families and groups, and many languages spoken. Nothing felt forced, it was relaxed and easygoing.
Parking fills up, so going earlier helps, but it never felt too hectic when we visited.
We have been to beaches all over Florida and in many other parts of the world, and DuBois Park and Beach truly stand out. It is a rare place that feels beautiful, accessible, and genuinely family-friendly all at once. We will absolutely be back as soon as we can.
