After you get over the style of the display, the details are fascinating

点评:This is a fascinating display. It kind of was not what I expected. First of all, all of the buildings and scenarios are of a sort of poorer part of town, and perhaps in the 1930s. The people hang around bars, and trash cans, and alleys, and hotels. And, the figurines were kind of rough carved, not fine lines. --- but after I got over the surprise of that. I dug in and looked at every detail, and really liked it. Even the trash cans had tiny items in them, like tin cans, and fish, and newspapers. These miniature buildings are quite tall; maybe 3 feet. The buildings have so much fine details, like bricks and tiling. -- It is located in a historic part of town, and a nice place to take a quick stroll around the central park. they have a gift shop offering many of the figurines; some big and some like tree ornaments. And many of the cowboy figures that he started out making in his career, but are not in the "town display."
