点评：Chattanooga Zoo – Amazing Giraffe Feeding Experience, Red Pandas & Great Value Interactive Visit
We originally hadn’t planned a visit to the Chattanooga Zoo, but what a wonderful surprise this turned out to be!
I had seen on their website that they have red pandas, and that alone was enough for me — I had never seen them in real life before, and OMG… they are absolutely adorable. I’m just glad the “panda experience” package was a bit too pricey, or my husband might have tried to bring one home with us!
The zoo offers an experience package with vouchers that can be used for activities like giraffe feeding, the carousel, or the Zoo Choo train. Since the carousel and train are more kid-oriented, we used our vouchers for the giraffe feeding — and it was the highlight of the visit.
Feeding “Porter” the giraffe was an unforgettable experience. While you can’t pet him, you do get to feel his soft, velvety mouth and tongue as he eagerly takes lettuce right from your hands. Honestly, giraffe feeding should be on everyone’s bucket list!
There are also “Keeper Chats” throughout the day, and we learned so much during an engaging session about chimpanzees. The staff and volunteers were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the entire visit.
We also enjoyed seeing snow leopards, peacocks freely wandering the grounds, “Pumba” the warthog, and spending time in the petting zoo with the goats.
The zoo is very manageable in size — you can comfortably explore everything in about 1.5 to 2 hours. The on-site food was also surprisingly good; we had the cheeseburger fries for $14, and the portion was huge — easily shareable and very tasty.
Tickets with the experience vouchers were $27.50 per person (regular price, we had no discounts), and it was absolutely worth it considering it included the giraffe feeding experience.

我们还看到了雪豹、在园内自由漫步的孔雀、疣猪“彭彭”，以及在宠物动物园里和山羊们亲密接触的时光。
