Beautiful beach, but bring a jacket even in summer
Race Point Beach的点评
点评：We visited Race Point Beach last August with our two kids (7 and 4), and it ended up being one of their favorite stops on our Cape Cod trip. The beach is huge, the sand is beautiful, and the kids loved running around and looking for shells while we watched the waves.
One thing I didn’t expect was how chilly and windy it could get, even in August. The ocean breeze is no joke, so I’d definitely bring a light jacket and extra towels for the kids. The waves were also a bit stronger than some other Cape beaches, so I stayed close when they were playing near the water.
The parking area was easy enough, and we liked that it didn’t feel overly crowded compared with some smaller beaches. It’s not the best choice if you’re looking for calm, shallow water for toddlers, but for a family that wants a beautiful beach with space to explore, I’d definitely recommend it!
