点评：Our visits to friends living in the Cherry Creek area often includes attending fun community events.
During this past summer, we enjoyed attending the Cherry Creek Arts Festival, a very large street festival that spanned many blocks along East 2nd Avenue. The well-curated arts festival hosted over 250 artists. We missed the Bastille Day festival that was held later in the summer.
For the holidays, the Cherry Creek area was a Million Lights Getaway with trees and tall office and apartment buildings decked out with twinkling white and blue lights. We dropped by the Cherry Creek Holiday Market - the festival featured around 50 small booths in Fillmore Plaza. We did not see many people buying anything other than cocktails. We would have enjoyed more food and crafts vendors.
