ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden的点评
点评：The Botanic Gardens is adjacent to the Aquarium, so you can visit both at once.
The Botanic Gardens is a lovely place to walk around. It takes several hours to walk through the entire place. Summer and early fall is best, when more plants are in bloom. There's a grassy area where you can bring a picnic blanket and food (not in glass containers), and folding chairs if you want. You can't bring toys or sporting equipment, like a ball or frisbee, or pets. You can bring a camera, and as far as I know you can bring art materials to sketch the flowers. There are many nice places to relax and read a book, though the seating options are more scenic than comfortable.
There's an extensive children's section (look for the dragon) with a slide, a maze, and a giant pumpkin. It used to have giant rubber worms coming out of the walls and others which you could carry around, but even on opening day that started to get messed up.
In December, the Botanic Gardens has the River of Lights in the late evenings and into the night, which are elaborate light displays throughout the entire place. Tickets are on the pricey side, but it's a wonderful experience, though this year they didn't have the light show and music in the Mediterranean greenhouse. It's always very crowded. Tickets need to be bought in advance, and get sold out. It's good to buy tickets for the earliest time slot and to come 30 mins. in advance to get parking. It can be very cold, especially if you stay for a number of hours, so dress warmly.

Many of the paths are dirt or gravel, and realistically many people who use a wheelchair or walking aids won't be able to access them.
