点评：we had a great time, a truly wonderful experience! there were three of us. my almost 80 year old wife questioned her ability to get in the basket. no worries. two crew members physically lifted her above the rail and set her inside as gently as a baby. she also has flying issues and took a dramamine before the flight, but was amazed at how smooth the ride and comfortable the temperature and breeze.
seeing the sunrise and as many as 100 balloons in the air was very special and an experience about which stories will be told for years to come. our flight was a little over an hour, so not sure where some of the other reviewers had longer trips, perhaps it had to do with balloon week. in any event, the point is that even an hour is well worth the experience. we loved it and would recommend world balloon to anyone who wanted the thrill of the ride, without trying to make an 80 day trip around the world! my cousin made the reservation. he’s a local and wouldn’t recommend any other company in town, regardless of cost, more or less.
price deserves a special mention. thanks also to the owners who generously offer a military discount. i rarely comment on that benefit, but at the expense these small business folks have for replacing a basket ($55k) and envelope ($60k), any discount deserves praise. thank you!
