点评：How is this free :) What a treat. Address doesn't make sense - it's actually on the campus in a little park like setting and you will end up on busy Lindell where place is not visible - I had to walk into a museum nearby for directions. Once there however, simply lovely. The first floor especially is decorated with everything you could imagine in a robber baron castle. Although that term isn't really appropriate, Cupples was socially conscious and a real benefactor to St. Louis. Still, for a family of three - that's a lot of house. Third floor is mostly display space rather than restored rooms, but interesting items (and, I noticed, I have two of their pottery pieces at home, lol) Lady manning the desk willing to answer general questions - probably a student (?) Helpful booklet discussing rooms, objects, history etc., and since this isn't heavily trafficked you can easily find a nook to sit and read it; the front bay suggests itself - with non-roped off settees. If you enjoy this sort of thing and especially if you appreciate being able to wonder at leisure (yes please!) this is a great experience.
