点评:We decided to visit Playa Palancar at the last minute on our port day in Cozumel. There were seven(!) cruise ships in port that day, and we wanted to avoid crowds. The place was beautiful, with a sandy beach, palm trees, lots of beach loungers and umbrellas, a large restaurant/bar area under a roof (but with no walls), and a rope-and-float barrier that kept watercraft out. There was a small floating platform you could jump off of but no other water activities like inflatable slides or trampolines. However, the water was beautiful. The barrier enclosed a square about 100 yards on a side. We brought our own masks and snorkels, and we snorkeled out to the barrier (about 7 feet deep) and saw a lot of colorful fish. They had let us know that they were out of beach loungers and umbrellas, but they gave us a big table at the restaurant (there were 11 of us) and were very friendly and helpful. We ordered ceviche, fruit, nachos, and quesadillas, and the food was great. (The entry fee was $23 for 12 and up and $17 for 11 and under). They also played excellent 90s music, and the volume was just right: not loud at all, but you could hear it in the background. We only had three hours, and it didn't seem long enough!
