点评：Went last year for the same conference. Since last year, some things have improved, like check in. They seem to understand now that sharing room numbers while checking people in while others are in line could be a dangerous thing.
The conditions of the rooms are still not worth the money. The refrigerator in the room could barely keep things cold. The keys to the room that keep erasing so you need to get new keys is still a problem (they blame it on magnets; I kept my key in a lanyard away from magnets. and another thing they said they would work on and haven’t is they don’t have locking doors to go into each of the buildings.
The admission fees are high but you have access to the parks.
The area of the park is beautiful, the extra experiences at the lodge were great. The people who operated the zip line were professional and knowledgeable.
TJ and Danielle at the tavern/bar were friendly. Joey and Smith with catering were spot on and very helpful.
Seems the Lodge were very understaffed and overwhelmed.
Many things went wrong with the food choices,
It is very telling that it is State owned and there’s a contract to lease it by the operators of the lodge. The leaser doesn’t want to spend the money to fix things that they would not be compensated for if they did not win the contract. I.e new building a/c units. Building “A” had no a/c in the main part of the building, leaks in the ceiling in Fireside C. The stench of sewage in Building D.
