Seal sanctuary - accessibility + dog friendly
Cornish Seal Sanctuary的点评
点评：If it was a zoo, I’d probably rate lower but this is a sanctuary so the less animals needing help the better, so although we didn’t see many - it wasn’t too disappointing.
As a wheelchair user, we parked by reception and got our tickets but nobody informed us there was parking actually right by the seals so instead it was a 10-15 minute walk & wheel. There are some STEEP hills, I struggled in an electric chair so would not recommend to manual users.
The staff were all super lovely, they interacted with our dog and the speeches were informative. Dogs could go pretty much everywhere (besides hospital which makes sense),
We did ask about the beavers and were sent in the right direction where we walked another 10-15 minutes to find a sign saying there were no beavers anymore, that’s okay but I wish we were informed as it took a lot of energy to get over there.
Good sized gift shop, and lovely staff everywhere.
