Great Lakes Schooner Company的点评
点评：The photos of the "Challenger" on the company's site must have been taken when the boat was new. The boat was dated, dirty and no doubt in need of care and a good cleaning. We boarded at 11 am for a lunch cruise. There were 48 of us and barely room on deck for everyone to find a place to sit. The lunch tables were practically in the laps of those sitting by them. The crew had not prepared lunch upon our arrival so we had to go at a snail's pace around the bay for over an hour waiting on them. We continued at the extreme slow pace until everyone had eaten and dessert was served. When dessert was served, three (3) of our group had to give up the place they were sitting and stand to make a place for it. There was music on board but only those sitting at the front of the boat could hear it. There was no PA system on the boat for the Captain to give us any information about what we were seeing. Only those sitting near the Captain could ask about things and were the only ones that could hear his response. It takes time to set the sails and to take them down. In total, according to my watch, we got approximately 20 minutes of actual sailing time. Could not recommend this cruise. Very disappointed in the amount of sailing time we actually got.
