点评:One of our party has mobility issues and we used a wheel chair, going down was ok.
Getting back……..issues.
Just as we got there to go back up, a tree branch fell on the power line and they closed the incline, yes Safety first.
So
I waited inline for a refund, after 5 minutes and only serving one customer, they had run out of cash. I asked if it could ne recredited to the card….no. Um why? This should have been available to do and offered.
We were told and directed to…..You can get a bus down there across the street.
Short story is it took anout an hour to wait for a bus, and needless to say we were freezing standing around in the sub zero temperature, even rugged up as we were. At least the shuttle was free, and thank god Mark the information attendant was there assisting.( he isnt part of the incline) thank you Mark, you went above and beyond.
If I was the manager of the incline I would have offered to arrange a taxi and assist people who have mobility issues. There was nothing.
So Niagra Falls, why are there no steps or convenient pedestrian access options in that area? ……you do the math = tourist trap.
