点评:If you're visiting Grenada, then this is one place you shouldn't miss.
I was given a tour by the lovely Tamisha who has a passion for both her subject and for being a tour guide. This passion shone through and it was an informative and thoroughly enjoyable time where even the most mundane of my questions were answered with good grace.
The museum itself is well laid out with clear information and displays and the joy of discovering that so much of the work is still done by hand today and the nutmeg is bought and sold to a worldwide market through a farmers' co-operative was wonderful. So much nowadays has been industrialised to such an extent that humans are surplus to requirements means that finding an industry that still values field to plate in a sustainable fashion was refreshing.
I couldn't resist some of the products on offer (obviously...), however, there was no 'hard sell' or ridiculous prices and I was delighted to buy local produce.
The only reason I gave the museum 4 instead of 5 stars is that it's not well signposted! As a solo traveller, a sign with an arrow would be a great idea ;)
