点评：Good trip. We arrived at approximately 1:30 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the museum. Admission was free, which is always a plus. The museum was on the smaller side and only contained a few informational plaques and artifacts out for display. There was also a small theatre that played a short, roughly 15 minute movie about the history of the site and the Hopewell culture. After viewing the movie, we made our way outside to explore the mounds. There were about a dozen or so mounds outside, that varied in size and shape. We were able to walk on the grassy surface and view the mounds from up close. There were additional informational plaques outside that went into detail about the background of each mound. After viewing the mounds, we opted to hike the Mound City Group Loop, which was a roughly 1 mile loop trail around the site. The trail was relatively easy and consisted of walking on a flat dirt/grassy surface for a majority of the walk. We were able to enjoy scenic views of the mounds and the riverbank below.
