点评：There are some places you are glad to have obtained a fridge magnet from, but know you will never be back. Different areas of the world have their own version of street hawkers and if you’ve travelled a bit you will discover that the intensity and frequency with which they will get into your face to sell things can vary considerably. Regional differences are likely due to two things: culture and the level of poverty, especially poverty. In Cartagena, they are very, very bothersome almost like you are having to shoo flies. Part of the problem was that we were on a tour and when a large group of obvious tourists comes down the street it automatically feels like locusts descending on a field. A lot of locals have ice coolers and as it was 30C/90F with sticky humidity you get asked a lot if you want water or beer but they say it as one word waterbeer.
