普利特维策湖的点评
点评：Plitvice Lakes is an absolute must-visit if you’re travelling to Croatia. We visited as a family and had an amazing day exploring the park.
We started at Entrance 2 and would definitely recommend doing the same. It means you tackle the upper lakes first while it’s cooler and quieter, and, as a bonus, you’re walking downhill for most of the route. We followed Route H, which took us around 5 hours with plenty of stops for photos, although it’s officially a 4–6 hour walk.
The lakes themselves are breathtaking. The colour of the water is unlike anything we’ve ever seen – the photos are incredible, but you really have to see it in person to appreciate it.
By the time we reached the lower lakes, it had become much busier, particularly with large guided tour groups, which made the narrow boardwalks feel quite crowded at times.
There were a couple of negatives. The car park was chaotic, with people parking wherever they could. Considering you have to pay for parking, it could definitely be better managed. We also found the start of the route a little confusing, with limited signage from the car park. You need to make your way downhill to catch the shuttle bus to the top before beginning your walk, but we only knew that because we’d done our research beforehand.
Despite those minor frustrations, Plitvice Lakes is one of the most beautiful places we’ve visited and is somewhere we’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Croatia.
