Plitvice Lakes in the Low Season
普利特维策湖的点评
点评：We booked a walking tour of Plitvice Lakes National Park for the two of us. When we reached Entrance 2’s car park, the whole area was empty. We then realised that we were the only people in the tour. We felt like we had the whole park to ourselves!
From the car park we took a walk to the shuttle bus station, which then transported us to the lower lake section. We then took a descent down to the lakes area.
The whole park was so quiet and serene. The water was crystal clear.
We walked on the timber boardwalks to reach the Big Waterfall. Our guide, Christian, explained to us about the limestone cliff and the travertine stone. It was fascinating.
We saw another two or three families when we reached the boardwalk area.
The tour ended with a boat ride back to the shuttle bus station. The final part of the tour was an upward walk back to the car park. That was probably the most tiring part of the day.
