Tourist trap & overpriced. Go to Clearwater aquarium.

点评：Family of 5, kids ages 20, 15, 10. We went at 1:10 pm and caught the very end of a presentation. The next one wasn’t until 2 pm and after that it was at 3 pm. We paid $170 for our family of 5 to go. There is not much to do between shows. My 10 year old was bored within minutes after walking around to see what was on display. We were disappointed because it was a “self-guided tour”there was no “guide” whatsoever- so no informational signs, no handout. We expected some signs about dolphins to self educate/read about the animals and their mission. Maybe some interactive displays. There is none of this. I made a comment that we were disappointed to a worker and she said we just needed to find a worker and ask them questions. She provided some interesting info for about 5-10 min until the next presentation. When this was over, there was nobody around -and my kids were ready to go. As we were walking out, the workers were clustered in a group talking to each other as we walked by.
The trainers really seemed to care about the animals, but overall it seemed like a total tourist trap experience with little educational value. They seemed mostly geared toward the customers that want to pay 100+ to get in the water or the platform with the dolphins.
Way overpriced for what was an hour walk around. It was the worst value experience of our trip. If you have an active family, the keys cable park across the road was about the same price and far better (although we went there 4 years ago) we regretted not spending our $ there.
