Great half day trip from Iguazu Falls.

点评：We ended up with some extra time after visiting the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. We hired a driver to take us on the 45 minute drive to Wanda mines. We did the tour which was about four US dollars per person. Very worth it. I had initially really wanted to come, but then was unsure because of some reviews online. My adult daughter talked us into going and I’m glad we did. The tunnels that our tour guy took us on were really very interesting and pretty. Although the tour guy did not speaking, there, her daughter was able to help translate for us.
Definitely no need to buy anything in the gift shop though. It’s very overpriced. Unless you want a specific souvenir from this area specifically I think you can buy amethyst rocks and jewelry elsewhere for a better price.
Overall, I’m very glad we went. It did cost quite a bit more than expected to have our driver take us privately, so maybe look into a tour from a driver in the center of Iguazu.
