点评：I really enjoy visiting Heraclea Lyncestis — it’s such a peaceful and interesting place, and surprisingly close to Širok Sokak, the main street in the city. You can easily combine a walk through the ruins with coffee or lunch in town.
The site itself is full of history and easy to explore. You can walk through the remains of a private Roman bath, the Portico of a Court, the Small and Great Basilica with beautiful mosaics, the Bishop’s residence, and even an ancient theatre. There’s also a small museum with some of the findings.
It’s definitely worth visiting, especially on a nice sunny day when everything feels more alive. In autumn, it’s particularly beautiful — the colors, the quiet atmosphere, and the ruins together make it feel very romantic.
A great spot if you like history, photography, or just a calm walk somewhere a bit different.
