Shame about the rubbish.
诺帕拉塔拉海滩的点评
点评：It was high tide so it wasn’t possible to walk along the beach so we had to walk on the footpath between the beach and the road. The problem was the amount of rubbish including broken glass which hadn’t been washed in with the tide but just thrown away by visitors and locals. Such a shame as the views out to sea were very good featuring a number of islands including Chicken Island. There are also two small islands which, at low tide, can be accessed from the shore line and are certainly worth visiting but not by going barefoot as there are thousands of broken shells which could cause quite nasty cuts on the feet.
It’s a good walk which we have done many times in the past. It’s much quieter than Ao Nang beach but it is popular with, mainly but not exclusively, Thais, picnicking - hence the rubbish. Why can’t they take it away with them?
In the early evening, there can be glorious sunsets.
Plenty of on the road parking and toilets in the nearby shopping areas. Take great care of crossing the road as many drivers seem to think it’s a race track!
