点评：Me and Dianne went in May 2025 after visiting the local town.
The secret is to just wait outside the main gate. A local will eventually pass, probably on a moped, and that's how you can gain access to the property. Also try the doorbell! The locals appear to have a deal with the Baron Franco and the Baron will likely show you around. The price was €30 each.
In May it was only me and my partner that went in. We had the delightful Baron to ourselves and he was exceptionally pleasant, humourous and proud of his home, which has barely changed from the movies. It was a very interesting experience. He could not have been more abliging. Lots of photos and videos taken and the Baron took many of us also. We were there for quite some time, probably near 2 hours and he was in no rush to let us leave. I would suggest if you can visit to do so, as it might appear any relatives may not have interest in keeping the tradition continuing if the Baron isnt around to give the pure unadulterated experiece as it is in its very unchanged appearance.
We later went to Savoca to visit and toured about including Bar Vitelli for a meal and also went to Corleone, but Castello degli Schiavi was a definite highlight.
Spent 1 month in Sicilly and it's wonderful. Try to get to Noto and Agrigento.
