点评:This was only my second visit to this wonderfully intimate dance performance venue. (My first visitt was x years ago!). It looks like they have a constant programme of excellent, varied dance. We were treated to a captivating, sophisticated show. Five pieces by very diverse choreographers/dancers - all to music from Phlip Glass's piano Etudes. All accompanied by live piano. The highly acclaimed pianist exponent of Glass's piano music, Maki Namekawa, was the passionate accompanist. Performing from audience level at a corner of the stage, she was arguably the star of the show - living, channelling, mouthing, eating, loving every note. Her piano solos began and ended the performance – accompanied the dance - and provided interludes between pieces. Fabulous.
This is just an example of what the Joyce Theater presents. I'm sure I would have waxed equally lyrical about another performance here. What was also great was to see a just-about full house for such a sophisticated product on a Sunday afternoon in NYC!

这只是乔伊斯剧院呈现的一个例子。我确信我会对这里的另一场表演同样充满抒情。同样令人高兴的是,周日下午在纽约看到如此精致的产品几乎座无虚席!
