Charming but Cramped at The Moore Theatre

点评：We headed to The Moore Theatre for a show with friends, excited for a night out at one of Seattle’s oldest and most iconic venues. The atmosphere as you step in definitely feels historic ornate details along the balcony railings and that classic theatre charm that gives it so much character.
The show itself was great, and sharing the experience with friends made it all the more enjoyable. The acoustics held up well, and the energy of the crowd was lively and fun.
That said, it’s hard to ignore the seating situation. The seats were noticeably tight and not the most comfortable for a longer performance. You really feel close to your neighbors, maybe closer than you’d like! And as the night went on, the theatre got surprisingly warm, which didn’t help with the already snug feeling.
Despite these quirks, it was still a good night out. I’d say if you’re going with a good group of friends and you’re ready for a bit of old-school theatre charm (and don’t mind sacrificing a bit of comfort), The Moore can still offer a fun evening.
