点评：If you have an interest in Churchill & his life then you will find Chartwell a fascinating place and a must visit. This is a very popular National Trust location so best to book your timed slot for the house (especially in the summer months). It is self guided but there were plenty of staff/volunteers on hand who were very knowledgeable and informative. You will see lots of Churchills paintings and memorabilia including his Nobel prize for literature. There are some lovely well maintained gardens to spend time in, but as the house is positioned on a small hill there are a few steps and different levels in the gardens near the house.
The Art studio is also a must visit. Try and time it for an interesting talk about Churchill and his art from one of the informative staff. A very interesting place to visit. We would highly recommend.
