Uppark House and Garden的点评
点评：Just visited Uppark which used to be great. Now the House is only open Sunday-to-Tuesday (Booked Tours only on Tuesday), with Grounds open on those days plus Wednesday when the House totally shut. Absence of access to the House on a Wednesday was clearly an issue as car park was nearly empty & nobody else seemed to stay more than half an hour.
The very nice Tea room has been reduced to kiosk with uninspiring token token fare. To add insult to injury no salt/pepper or other condiments were available, which seems extraordinary!
The car park on-line car parking system still does not work, and there is no sign to warn that this is the case & tell you to sign your car in at reception.
The Dairy & stables are still closed & the whole place feels as though it is on its last legs. Obvious shortage of volunteer staff, which is no surprise given the way it has been run down.
