点评：This is a very quick trip of about 5 minutes up to a view point over Wellington. It is centrally located, was easy for us to get tickets on the day and it wasn't crowded - but we went early. There isn't much to view along the trip but there are two psychedelic lit tunnels to go through. The cars run about every 10 minutes. The cable car itself is cute.
I recommend taking the cable car up but walking down via the Wellington Botanical Gardens. It is $6.50 one way vs $12 return so if you change your mind it is only $1 extra. There were people who had bought the return ticket and they felt they had to limit their explorations just to a fairly small top area rather than going down and having to walk back up again. There is a free cable car museum up there which looks interesting but we took an early trip cable car trip up (around 8:15 am) and weren't prepared to wait around to visit it when it opened at 10am. If you want to see it then go later.
