Amazing concert, but entrance was poorly managed.

点评：I visited the GelreDome for a Kanye West concert, and overall it was a fantastic experience.
The concert itself was spectacular and easily one of the best I’ve ever been to. The sound quality throughout the venue was excellent, and everything was well organised once the show began.
The seating was comfortable, and I actually preferred the lack of armrests as it created a little more personal space. However, the legroom between rows was quite limited. It felt very narrow, and I could see how it would be easy for someone to trip when moving in and out of their seat, especially in low lighting.
The main issue was entering the venue. The doors were due to open at 6:00pm but didn’t actually open until around 6:30pm. When they did open, there appeared to be only two security scanners operating for a very large crowd. This led to significant congestion and crowding outside the entrance, which at times felt uncomfortable and poorly managed. I felt that opening more security lanes or improving the flow of people would have made the entry process feel much safer and more efficient.
One thing I also wasn’t a fan of was the payment system for food and drinks. You have to load money onto a GelreDome payment card before making purchases. Personally, I found this inconvenient because it’s difficult to know in advance how much you’ll spend, meaning you may have to keep topping up the card during the event.
My only other criticism was transport after the concert. With so many people leaving at the same time, it would have been great to see more public transport options available to help visitors get back to their hotels more efficiently.
Despite these minor issues, I had an amazing time. The concert experience was unforgettable, and I would happily return to the GelreDome for another event.
