点评：Our experience at Tambopata National Reserve with Local Trekkers Peru was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. From the very beginning, everything was well organized and clearly explained, which gave us a lot of confidence. Once we arrived in the Amazon, the whole experience felt authentic and immersive not rushed or overly touristy. The walk through the rainforest to reach the lake was already an adventure on its own. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, and you could really feel his passion for the jungle.
Arriving at Lago Sandoval for the first time was magical. The calm waters, the sounds of birds and monkeys in the distance, and the feeling of being completely surrounded by nature is something I will never forget. We were lucky enough to see giant river otters, several species of monkeys, colorful birds, and even caimans at night. Every excursion felt unique and exciting.
What I appreciated most was how respectful the team was toward the environment and the local ecosystem. You could tell they truly care about preserving this incredible place. The food was also excellent, fresh, and abundant much better than we expected in the middle of the rainforest!
