点评：After spending the week hopping around SXM we were excited to see the island from the water and particularly so to be able have some adventure driving our own mini boats. I booked last minute, but they were able to accommodate us the next afternoon. We had a check in time of 1:00 pm and we sat on the dock for the next 2+ hours until we finally departed around 3:15 pm. There was no communication about what was going on, upon inquiring I was told that they had a tour group run late and that the schedule was off, that was it. Upon inquiring again were told that we would going out soon (it was another hour). No one really addressed it and the most we got was one offhanded “sorry for your wait”. One of our groups’s boats died within a minute of being on the water (they managed the situation quickly, we were near the dock but I was concerned about reliability out on the water) Our guide was nice, but I got the impression that being a guide wasn’t his regular job. He didn’t really say anything and we got the impression he was eager to return. Our tour was cut short because we left so late and needed to get back before the sunset.
Also the route was different than advertised on the website for the beach getaway tour that I booked. Based on the write up on the website I was under the impression that there would be information shared along the way, a tour. This was a ride, not a “tour”, which was fine but needs to be better explained.
We understand that things happen and I think we were very calm and accommodating about it all, but the lack of communication was really unacceptable. With all of this I unfortunately would not return and would not recommend Rhino Excursions.
Also the route was different than advertised on the website for the beach getaway tour that I booked. Based on the write up on the website I was under the impression that there would be information shared along the way, a tour. This was a ride, not a “tour”, which was fine but needs to be better explained.
We understand that things happen and I think we were very calm and accommodating about it all, but the lack of communication was really unacceptable. With all of this I unfortunately would not return and would not recommend Rhino Excursions.
