Outrageous car park charges
Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door的点评
点评：The walk to and from Durdle Door to Lulworth Cove is always a real treat. However, beware the horrendous car parking charges at the Durdle Door car park .. today we were there just a few minutes over 4 hours and were charged the full day rate of £20. This can only be described as an utter rip off!
There is no clear signage on the car park when arriving - you are merely informed 'pay on exit'.
How are families meant to absorb over the top charges like this - the site owners need to reflect on the bigger picture here, i.e. outrageous charges force more drivers to park along approaching roads and reduce the available spend from the family 'day out' budget in local cafes and shops.
We are relative locals (from Poole) and will never use this car park again - we would urge more of you to think twice about parking here and then maybe the owners will start to realise that they cannot simply take us all for granted.
