Disappointing Christmas Lights Experience

点评：Myself and my family have been visiting the Bedgebury Christmas lights for many years now and have always greatly enjoyed the experience. Sadly, this year, that enjoyment came to an end.
While there were some impressive light displays, much of the music was loud pop music, taking away from the magical, atmospheric and dramatic quality that has always made walking through the illuminated forest so special.
In addition, a much stricter movement system has been introduced. We felt herded along paths through the one-way system, making it difficult to stop, look, or take in the displays properly. Any seating areas have been roped off so there were no obvious stopping points, unless you want to pay over the odds for a marshmallow. After being funnelled through the route and exited at the end, we tried to walk the trail again once the crowds had thinned, but we were refused re-entry.
In previous years, we have always walked the trail twice, and the second time has always been the most magical and enjoyable as it has been quieter and we have been able to take in the trail in our own time. Being refused entry left us feeling disappointed and unhappy. This felt like an unnecessary element of policing as it was not busy at that time. This also feels very poor value for money bearing in mind, tickets for a family of four cost close to £100.
Overall, we left after an hour feeling like the lights have just become a money making exercise with little consideration for customer satisfaction and less focus on the innovative, artistic and atmospheric experience that once made it so special.
