Athenry Castle的点评
点评：We had the opportunity to visit Athenry Castle, and it was an unforgettable experience. The town itself is absolutely charming, but what truly made our visit special was Chris, our incredible guide, who went above and beyond in every way.
Chris shared the history of our family lineage, the De Birminghams, with such passion and depth that my children and I were completely riveted. She taught us so much fascinating history, including why the castle walls were painted white, the battles the De Birminghams fought in beginning in the 12th century, and even showed us the family crest. She also explained the remarkable stonemasonry work in the graveyard and shared the touching story of Millie.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our time at the castle or about Chris herself. Her knowledge of history, dedication to the site, and ability to teach in such an engaging and meaningful way truly resonated with my children. She made history come alive for all of us.
Thank you so much, Chris, for giving our family a memorable experience that we will always treasure.
